Kind's challenger holds his own listening session

REEDSBURG - Although he doesn’t represent the area currently, Wisconsin State Senator Dan Kapanke (R-La Crosse) held a listening session at the Reedsburg Public Library Wednesday as part of a tour across the western portion of the state.

Kapanke is challenging incumbent 3rd District Wisconsin Congressman Ron Kind (D-La Crosse) in November’s election. The state senator talked mostly about why he is running for office on a national level and what he hopes to do if elected.

“It’s a train wreck over there (in Washington, D.C.) and this area can be represented better,” Kapanke told a modest crowd.
