State Sen. Dan Kapanke said Tuesday he will introduce a resolution authorizing Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen to challenge the new federal health reform law in court.

State Sen. Dan Kapanke said Tuesday he will introduce a resolution authorizing Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen to challenge the new federal health reform law in court.

The La Crosse Republican is running against U.S. Rep. Ron Kind, D-La Crosse, who voted Sunday in favor of the bill that was signed into law Tuesday.

Kapanke chief of staff Rose Smyrski said the resolution is being drafted and will be circulated to other senators for co-sponsorship.
