Congress hopeful Kapanke wants dialogue on issues

Dan Kapanke knows unseating a congressional incumbent will be a challenge, even in a year when pundits say political trends are moving in favor of Republicans like himself.

"Why am I doing this?" Kapanke asked rhetorically Thursday during an interview with the Leader-Telegram's editorial board. "The people deserve to have a dialogue on the issues."
